Fabio Celenza was born in Vasto (Ch) in 1987, and after graduating in Popular Music from the Conservatory of Pescara, he became known to the web audience for his comedic, nonsense voiceovers of international rockstars accidentally uploaded to YouTube, such as Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, and Steven Tyler. The effect was explosive, and he quickly became an internet phenomenon, leading to collaborations with major outlets such as Wired, Dmax, Colorado (Italia Uno), and Zelig. Since 2018, he has shared joys and passions with Elio e le Storie Tese, who took him under their wing and supported his artistic journey. Since 2018, he has also been a regular contributor to Propaganda Live (La 7), where he has created numerous voiceover videos of political figures, including ones about the British Parliament and Kim Jong Un. Alongside his passion for voiceovers, he has kept his love for music alive, and it is from this inspiration that the idea of touring with a band was born, presenting his experience as a web star.
In 2024, he began touring with the “Faffiga Experience,” a hybrid and hard-to-categorize project, which is interesting and innovative precisely because of its uniqueness: a live show with a band (bass, drums, keyboards) performing live music created for some of his most famous videos as the backdrop for his celebrated voiceovers, all performed live with the support of original visuals. Among other things, they performed songs created with images of Matteo Salvini, Vladimir Putin, and Giorgia Meloni.
In 2025, Fabio Celenza and his band will return to stages across Italy with a new show, different from the previous one, enriched with new voiceovers and new members, evolving into “FAFFIGA X-FILES”: live voiceovers and music, where you witness a concert but also laugh a lot, with a host of characters who have become unforgettable over time.
